OV'S ARTWORK

Are any of your paintings (artwork) framed?

None of my artwork is framed. That said when shipped artwork is securely wrapped and placed in a cardboard shipping box (if applicable). I would strongly recommend keeping your packing materials, as the artwork will need to be protected until it is framed.

How do I care and handle OV's artwork on arrival?

Soft pastels paintings:

OV’s original soft pastel paintings will be sprayed by a professional resin-based artists fixative spray designed for soft pastels, prior to shipping. That said upon arrival I would strongly recommend keeping your packing materials, as the surface will need to be protected until it is framed. How to frame/display your painting:

I highly recommend working with a professional framer to help properly preserve and display your painting. Framers will be able to recommend frames and mats that complement the painting, as well as the right materials to help preserve it.

The painting should be displayed in a frame with a mat and glass. The glass is necessary to protect the surface. The mat is necessary, not just for display, but also to create a gap between the surface of your painting and the glass in the frame. Remember that nothing should touch the surface of the painting!

Oil or Acrylic paintings:

OV’s original oil paintings or acrylic paintings might look beautiful hanging directly on the wall without a frame, that said is up to you if you want to frame them or not.

How to frame/display your painting:

I highly recommend working with a professional framer to help properly preserve and display your painting. Framers will be able to recommend frames and mats that complement the painting.

How do I take care OV's products?
  • Mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe
  • T-shirts, machine wash warm inside out with like colors using phosphate-free detergent. Machine dry. Do not iron decoration. Do not dry clean
  • Leggings, machine, or hand wash your leggings and capris in cold water. Tumble dry on regular or hang to dry. Do not bleach. Our performance fabrics are naturally quick-dry so you won’t have to wait long before wearing your leggings again.
  • Pillow case, machine wash cold or warm water with a mild detergent, hang to dry, iron on cotton setting. Can be dry cleaned. Do not bleach
How do I take care OV's products?

Are OV's ``work`` available in other shopping websites?

For now and until further notice all products on OV artisticdrive are exclusive and are only available on my official website www.ovartisticdrive.com

I’m interested in contacting you about a commission. How can I do this?

Due to current work commitments, I am accepting commissions occasionally. However, I am always happy to hear from you, so please feel free to contact me through my contact page to discuss any requests further. You can also email me at odette@ovartisticdrive.com
I will do my best to get back to you in less than 72hrs.

Could any of OV's paintings be duplicated or reproduced by OV for me?

I might be able to reproduce some of my paintings upon request. This will be on-case-by-case-situation. Feel free to contact me at odette@ovartisticdrive.com to discuss your request.

Please note:

  • All of my paintings are unique, that means I usually only create one of them. That said, I might be able to reproduce one of my paintings upon request .
  • Once I agree to reproduce one of my paintings. I will do my best to imitate the original, however you must be aware that the duplicate might not look exactly the same as the original, this might have few differences.
  • The cost of the duplication might vary to the original painting, especially if you make special requests (e.g. size,etc)
  • Once we discuss your request and I agree to it, I will issue you an invoice outlining the terms, including a 50% deposit. The remaining balance must be covered before I ship your painting.

 

Can I request any of OV's paintings in a different size?

I might be able to recreate some of my paintings in other sizes upon request. This will be on-case-by-case-situation. Feel free to contact me at odette@ovartisticdrive.com to discuss your request.

How can I pay for the order?

You can pay with PayPal and a credit card.

I cannot pay with paypal, what can I do?

Depending on your location we can discuss other payment options. Please note I am not responsible for additional charges affiliated with other payment options. You can email at odette@ovartisticdrive.com to discuss options (if applicable), when you email me please include the following information: Your full name, the “Work” (artwork or product) you would like to purchase, the size and colour ( if applicable) and your full address (incl. postal code, city/town, state/province and country).

SHIPPING

I'm facing some technical difficulties placing my order/ making a purchase on your website, what can I do?

I can't place an order, because I live outside of the us or Canada, can you help me?

Do you ship worldwide?

My main shipping destinations are the US and Canada (free shipping anywhere within the US and Canada). That said if you want me to ship a “Work” to other international destinations (outside of the US and Canada) please email me at odette@ovartisticdrive.com ,so I can help you with your order. I can ship all over the world and place the utmost care when shipping to you. Please note, that additional shipping fees will apply for international destinations outside of the US and Canada. Therefore when you email me please include the following information: Your full name, the “Work” (artwork or product) you would like to purchase, the size and colour ( if applicable), and your full address (incl. postal code, city/town, state/province, and country). How much will shipping cost?

Free shipping anywhere within the US and Canada. Please email me For other destinations additional charges will apply depending on the final destination, if this is your case I will email you the information, which you will need to pay before I ship your “Work” . When can I expect to receive my ``work``?

Processing Time: The time it will take me to prepare your “Work” or shipment (2-5 business days approx.), time will depend on the type of “Work” and final destination.

Estimated Delivery Date: The estimated delivery date is when your order should arrive. Generally, the estimated delivery date is based on a combination of the processing time, the transit time (how long the package is typically in transit with the shipping carrier), and today’s date.

Processing time + Carrier transit time + 5-9 days depending on the destination within the US and Canada= Estimated Delivery Date (Please note for other destinations outside of the US and Canada, the delivery date might take longer)

For example: If the processing time for an item you purchased is 5 days, and the transit time for the shipping method you chose is usually 5-9 days (within the US and Canada), your estimated delivery date is 10-15 days from today.

Please note:

  1.  For Customized “Work” you should consider the time it will take me to create the “Work” (TBD depending on the requirements)
  2. It is important to note that the information shared above is an estimate only and you should use your tracking number to receive more accurate updates and information regarding the delivery of your artworks. I will do everything I can to ensure your order gets to you as soon as possible but once your “Work” ( artwork or product leaves my hands, no matter how good my intentions, delivery becomes dependent on your country’s postal system). I (OV artisticdrive) cannot take any responsibility for delays caused by Couriers and Shipping Agents. Please check your delivery address and make sure your “Work” can be delivered safely at your end.
  3. International shipping times after posting from Canada may vary from country to country and exact time-frames cannot be guaranteed due to possible customs delays and other local conditions. Buyers are responsible for shipments once they enter the postal system and I’m not responsible for delays, damage or loss during shipping, but I will work with you to try to resolve the situation.
How do I track my order?

You can quickly check the status of a current order with your tracking number. As soon as your “Work” ships I will send you a confirmation email that includes a tracking number. Please check your inbox and junk/spam folders for updates.

I entered the wrong address, what can I do?

If a “Work” cannot be delivered due to an error entering your shipping address, I am not responsible for any loss, damages, or additional fees that may incur if your “Work” needs to be rerouted or reshipped.

Should I consider any additional expenses (inc. duties, taxes, etc)?

Duties and taxes are not included in the final price at check out, your order will be shipped DAP (Delivered At Place). As such, your order may incur duties, fees, and import taxes upon delivery. This charge is determined by your local customs authority and payment of these fees is obligatory if you wish to obtain your shipment. For further information, please consult your local customs office.

Will OV's ``work`` be subject to custom charges or import duty outside of Canada?

My “Work” may be subject to additional customs charges/import taxes if shipped outside Canada- this varies by product & country, please check with your local customs agency. These fees are not included in the price and must be covered by the customer. Please be aware of this before placing any orders.

Do you need to know when I receive my ``work``?

After your order arrives, I will love to hear that your order has arrived safely or whether there have been any concerns or issues along the way so if you have the chance please let me know. What type of packaging do you use?

Packaging will depend on the “Work”, that said all packaging is cautiously selected so your “Work” arrives safely to its destination.

RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

What is your cancellation or exchange policy?

Please review your order carefully before placing it. I accept cancellations or exchanges ONLY if (1) you request it within 24 hours from your purchase AND (2) the “Work” (s) has not been shipped. If one or both of the criteria mentioned are not met, you will not be able to cancel or exchange your order. Likewise, I will not be able to refund you for your purchase. Please note: All of my “Work” is original, limited edition and unique pieces. Therefore considering these facts, please understand it is not easy for me to accommodate or accept cancellations or exchanges on any of my “Work”. I reserve the right to cancel or modify an order at any time due to supply issues, shipping delays, suspicion of fraud or a product becoming unavailable, if this is the case I will email you to the email provided during your purchase.

What is your return, refund or exchange policy?

Please review your order carefully before placing it. Once an order is confirmed and paid for, I will not provide a refund unless I am unable to fulfill your order. Please note: All of my “Work” is original, limited edition, and unique pieces. Therefore considering these facts, please understand, that I can not accommodate or accept returns, refunds, or exchanges on any of my “Work”. All my “Work” (artwork and products) are sold as final sale. That said my primary wish is for you to be happy with the “Work” you have chosen, therefore feel free to email me at odette@ovartisticdrive.com prior to your purchase, if you require further information about any of my “Work”
A gentle reminder: please check your delivery address and make sure the “Work” can be delivered safely at your end, as I hold no responsibility for lost or stolen orders at the delivery point or during transit.

  1. On rare occasions, damage can occur through handling by the shipping agencies, especially on long international routes. Items can also be lost or stolen at the delivery point. If you follow all of the procedures below, you will have a much better chance of follow-up action with the shipping company.
    Do not permit the courier to leave your parcel unattended if you’re not there to personally receive it.
  2. If you cannot be there to receive your order, please arrange to pick up the parcel in person from the shipping depot or an official hub. * Before accepting and signing for the shipment, please check the outside packaging for damage.
  3. If there’s any sign of damage either (a) refuse delivery or (b) open the package in the presence of the delivery person and check the contents in front of them.
  4.  If the artwork inside is damaged, refuse the delivery and take photos for evidence.
  5. Report immediately and take the evidence and photos within 7 days to the shipping company’s head office to lodge the necessary forms.
